NVIDIA as on the day of writing has dropped the pricing on all of their Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3000 Series Graphics Cards: the RTX 3070 now costs ₹44,500/- INR which is a 14.7% drop in price from the launch MSRP, the RTX 3080 now costs ₹62,000/- INR which is a 12.6% price drop over the launch MSRP and the RTX 3090 now costs ₹1,33,500/- INR which is a 12.17% price drop over the launch MSRP.

We do not know if this is a temporary price drop in the form of a Promotion or if it is the new permanent pricing going ahead, but the point to be noted is that the current pricing have not changed for the last 3 days. We also do not know as to why NVIDIA decided drop the pricing of their cards in India - Could this be because of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 launch? May be. All in all competition is always good for the customers.

There is no update as to if the prices of the Add-In-Board Custom cards will also go down as a result or if the partners will continue to sell their cards at the MSRP that they initially launched their cards at.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 has 5,888 CUDA Cores with 8GB GDDR6 memory and boost clocks of 1.72GHz which ensures RTX 2080 Ti levels of performance for less than half the cost but looses to Radeon RX 6800 which costs about ₹54,279+/- INR GST included. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 has 8,704 CUDA Cores with 10GB of GDDR6X memory and boost clocks of 1.71GHz which makes sure it stays on par with AMD's flagship offering the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (India pricing for it is not revealed yet). NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 has 10490 CUDA Cores with massive 24GB of GDDR6X memory and boost clocks of 1.70GHz making it the fastest gaming consumer GPU on the market for now (RX 6900XT is yet to arrive on December 8th).
