Content Creators Can Stream Cyberpunk 2077 Without Any Copyright Issues

Game Streaming has been on the rise in the recent months more than ever with the global pandemic and the lockdown. Many people have started building / buying PCs to work from home and play videos games as part of their recreational activity during their free time as everybody is stuck in their homes. While few have also spotted an opportunity and took their passion of Gaming to the internet and started streaming / uploading their favourite games, to streaming / content creator websites like YouTube and Twitch, as they play it. But online streaming / uploading your game play videos without making sure if the game / clip is free of copyrighted content to the internet can result in demonetization, or take downs of your game play videos / streams or even result in copyright strikes that can in turn result in termination of your channel or account. For example in the recent Twitch DMCA fiasco, a lot of streamers received copyright strikes on their channels even for content that was almost an year or old.

Cyberpunk 2077, a game developed and published by CD Projeckt, is easily one of the most anticipated (also one of the most delayed - pun intended) game of 2020. With the release scheduled for December 10th, it is more likely than not that a lot of gamers will take it to the streaming sites like Twitch to play the game on launch day while simultaneously streaming it or upload their game play to video sharing platforms like YouTube. In the process there is a high possibility that copyrighted content might slip in resulting in copyright strikes on the accounts / channels of the Gamers / Streamers.

If you are one such Content Creator / Streamer / Gamer who wants to play and stream the game on launch day and are worried about copyrighted content in the game then do not worry the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 have got you covered. They have integrated a content creator feature in to the game called the "Disable Copyrighted Music" option which will be available in the game's settings menu. Once you toggle it on it will disable all the copyrighted sound tracks and you will be good to go with your stream experiencing the game for the first time live with your audience or with your game capture for upload to video sharing sites like YouTube.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to have a massive song library with over 150 songs to listen to and yet you do not have to worry about a copyright strike on your channel or account. We need such feature that can disable copyrighted content in almost all games and no content creator has to worry about it.
