ASUS-Radeon-RX-6800-XT-Reference-Edition
As with almost all AMD AIB partners ASUS have also announced that they are also going to sell the Reference Edition / Design of the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT under its own branding along side the custom ROG Strix LC and TUF Gaming Editions. Unlike Gigabyte and BIOSTAR ASUS have not slapped their branding / stickers on the Reference Design. ASUS have not listed any specs but unless ASUS have made some changes to the PCB it is unlikely that there is going to be any differences in boost clocks or the performance of the card.

ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT:

ASUS-ROG-Strix-LC-Radeon-RX-6800-XT

Asus have announced 2 custom models for the RX 6800 XT under their ROG and TUF branding. MSI:

    Radeon RX 6800 XT:

As to what has become a tradition among AMD AIB partners, MSI have also announced that they will also be selling the Reference Edition calling it MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT 16G along side the Gaming Trio and the Gaming X Trio custom graphics cards. This card has the exact same specs as the reference edition with 2015MHz Game clock and 2250MHz boost clock consuming 300W of power for which a 750W power supply is recommended with 2x 8-pin PCIe power connectors. The dimensions are exactly the same as other reference design cards from other AIBs which is 266.7(L)X119.75(W)X49.75(H)mm and occupies 2.5 slots. MSI have not added any stickers with their branding on the card, at least that's what the renders show. The price the card is listed for is $649.99 USD at Best Buy.

Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio:

MSI-Radeon-RX-6800-XT-Gaming-X-Trio
MSI have announced their custom RX 6800 XT graphics cards in 2 variants and one of them is the MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio. MSI listed the power consumption of this clock at 300W and is recommending a 750W PSU with 2x 8-Pin PCIe power connectors. There are 3x Display ports 1.4a and 1x HDMI 2.0b port as displayed on the product specifications page (probably a mistake, should be a HDMI 2.1 port - will update the information once MSI updates the same officially on their product page). The dimensions of the card are 324(L)X141(W)X55(H)mm, based on the dimensions of the card it can safely be assumed that this is going to be a 2.7 slot card. As is the case with every modern high end graphics card it also has a 3 fan design. This card is listed for a price of $849.99 USD on Newegg.

MSI-Radeon-RX-6800-XT-Gaming-X-Trio-Box-Front-Back-Top-Side-Look-IO

As can be seen in the images above, the card will ship with a Sag bracket. It has a more bright silvery accent on the edges when compared to the RTX counterparts. The top of the card has a RGB LED strip with RGB backlit MSI branding and non-backlit Radeon branding. The front 3 fans have stickers of the MSI dragon and on the back there is a almost-full length back plate with one more MSI dragon printed on it, though by the looks of it, just like the RTX 3080 MSI seems to have used a Graphene back plate instead of going with a metal one which could help with better heat dissipation when used the right way.

Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming Trio:

MSI-Radeon-RX-6800-XT-Gaming-Trio
MSI also announced the MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming Trio which is a non-overclocked version of the previous card. Apart from that the Gaming X Trio and the Gaming Trio (non-X) are one and the same card with the same cooler, shroud and back plate, measuring the same 324(L)X141(W)X55(H)mm and having the same I/O layout comprised of 3x Display Ports 1.4a and 1x HDMI 2.0b (again must be a mistake) and occupies 2.7 PCIe slots and also has a 3 fan design. There is no pricing information available for this card as on 23/01/2021.

MSI-Radeon-RX-6800-XT-Gaming-Trio-Box-Front-Back-Top-Side-Look-I/O

Coming to the looks of the card, it looks exactly the same as the RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio so refer to that section. Only exception being the box itself with Gaming Trio branding instead of Gaming X Trio.

There is no information as to if Gigabyte has made any PCB level changes to the card. But then Gigabyte is the only AIB partner that has provided a power supply / PSU requirement rating which happens to be 750W. Given Gigabyte is using the same GPU shroud as AMD, we can conclude that the card occupies 2.5 PCIe slots and the game and boost clocks are also the same as AMD marketed to be at 2015MHz and 2250MHz respectively which means it also has the same TBP of 300W. According to them this graphics card is essentially the same as the reference design except the fact that it has different visuals with its all silvery look and that ASRock bins the GPUs for this card so that it has higher overclocking abilities and much higher clock speeds out of the box and from the name Sub Zero one can conclude that this card is marketed for LN2 (or other exotic cooling solutions) overclocking. Wccftech also pointed that the back plate is also silver colored. This card also has the same display out layout - 1x HDMI 2.1, 2x Display Ports 1.4a and 1 USB Type-C. The ASRock Rx 6800 XT Sub Zero uses the reference design so it can be confirmed that it is a 2.5 slot card with a 3 fan design and has the following dimensions: 266.7(L)x119.75(W)x49.75(H)mm. There isn't any difference in the actual card from the reference edition, XFX haven't even slapped stickers with their brand name on the card except the box itself. All the dimensions and clock speeds, power requirements and TGP are exactly same as the Reference Edition. This card is priced at $649.99 USD on Best Buy.

Dataland:

    Radeon RX 6800 XT X-Serial:

There isn't much DATA about the Dataland graphics card, they do not have an official website - at least I could not find one on the date of updating this article (23-11-2020). Coming to the graphics card it self it has a 3 fan shroud / cooling system. VideoCardz claimed that this card has 2 8-pin power connectors. Apart from that there is not much info or any more images of the card, we will update this space as soon as more info is out.

Yeston:

    Radeon RX 6800 XT:

As all other AMD AIB partners, Yeston will also be selling the Reference Edition of the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card under their own brand but it is to be noted that Yeston does not seem to have slapped any stickers on the card with their brand name. All other looks, specifications and dimensions of the cards are exactly the same as the reference edition.

Radeon RX 6800 XT Sakura Edition:

The Yeston Radeon RX 6800 XT Sakura Hitomi Edition is a white custom Radeon RX 6800 XT (with asterisks*) graphics card from Yeston. This is the first white themed RX 6800 XT from any AIB partner and the Sub Zero from ASRock can only get so close with its more silvery look. This is a 3 fan card that occupies 2.5 PCIe slots. The card also has a full length back plate with printed graphics on it. The PCB on the card is also white and is short because of which the 2x 8-pin PCIe power connectors are almost at the center of the length of the card.

Other AIBs:

We are aware that there are more AIB partners like Kuroutoshikou and HIS but most of them have not announced any custom cards and will be selling (may be for now) Reference Editions of the RX 6800 XT cards as all other AIBs. Once they announce / release any such "Custom" card we will update the same here.

For all the AMD fans who wanted to see more AIB models, this is not the end Add in Board partners will announce new custom cards as we get closer to the launch and same will be updated in this article as soon information comes out. So are you excited for all the new cards and designs that are going to hit the market on the 18th of November? Do let us know down in the comments section below.

    1. Unfortunately yes. Only option that I can see is RX 6800 (non-XT) Reference Edition with 2 slot design.
