You may want to get command prompt back because you do not wish to learn using a new tool or because you do not use it often. But with the creators update Microsoft is pushing you to use PowerShell instead of Command Prompt and why not when PowerShell is a much more powerful tool compared to Command Prompt but still if you wish to use Command Prompt instead of PowerShell here's how you can get back Command Prompt in the Power Users menu (Windows + X):

(Scroll to the end of this post to watch the video tutorial instead.)

Replace PowerShell With Command Prompt In Power Users Menu:

Step 1: Click on the 'Start' icon and open 'settings' by clicking on the  '⚙'  (Gear) icon. Or press Windows+I to open 'Settings' window.

Step 2: Then click on 'Personalisation'.

Step 3: In the left menu select  'Taskbar'.

Step 4: Then in the main menu look for 'Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell in the menu when I right click the start button or press Windows logo key + X' whose toggle will be turned 'ON' by default. Turn it 'OFF' to replace PowerShell with Command Prompt in the Power Users menu.

Hope that helps.
